Harry Styles closed his sold-out 30-night Madison Square Garden residency on Saturday, October 31, 2026, and left with a banner in the rafters. New York Knicks captain Jalen Brunson presented the commemorative banner during the final show, an honour the building usually reserves for the athletes and artists who define an era inside it.
The residency, titled Together, Together, was Styles’ only United States tour stop of 2026, and Madison Square Garden Entertainment called the run record-setting and unprecedented in its own announcement of the night. MSG also unveiled a new Defining Moments exhibit on the arena’s sixth-floor concourse, built from memorabilia from the run and now on display for every fan who walks into the building.
Harry Styles Madison Square Garden Run, By The Numbers
The shape of the run explains why the building treated its ending as history. Styles played Madison Square Garden every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for ten straight weeks, from August 26 through October 31, with Jamie xx as the special guest across the residency. Thirty sold-out shows in one room, on a fixed weekly rhythm, turned a tour stop into a standing New York appointment: fans planned trips around it the way they plan around a sports season.
More than half a million fans attended across the 30 nights, travelling from every American state and 79 countries, according to MSG Entertainment. “Having a banner hanging from the rafters of The Garden is an honor reserved for legendary athletes and artists,” said Josephine Vaccarrello, President of MSG Entertainment. “Over the last two weeks, two new banners have been added to that iconic ceiling and two new exhibits have been added to our Defining Moments showcases celebrating both Harry’s unprecedented 30-night residency and the Knicks’ incredible Championship run.”
The presenter closed the loop between those two banners. Brunson, the Knicks captain and 2026 Finals MVP, received his own banner moment less than two weeks earlier, then returned to hand Styles his. A basketball captain presenting a pop residency banner is the kind of crossover the Garden trades on, and on Halloween night it put the building’s two biggest 2026 stories in the same frame.
Night 30: The Final Setlist
MSG published the Night 30 setlist with its announcement, and it reads as a tour summary in one night. Styles opened with Dance No More and Carolina, moved through Music For A Sushi Restaurant, Cinema and Adore You, and placed Watermelon Sugar early enough to set the room’s volume for the rest of the evening. The middle of the set carried newer titles from the Together, Together show, including Taste Back, The Waiting Game, Are You Listening Yet? and Ready, Steady, Go!, alongside Satellite and From The Dining Table.
The closing run was built for a final night. A late sequence moved through Kiwi, American Girls and a cover of Psycho Killer, a fitting choice for an October 31 show, before As It Was, Carla’s Song and Coming Up Roses led into the last two songs of the residency: Sign Of The Times and Aperture. Thirty shows in, the setlist still balanced the catalogue that filled the room against the newer material the residency was built around, which is a large part of why fans returned for second and third nights across the ten weeks.
The Residency Did Civic Work Too
The run carried a working charitable layer that MSG detailed in the same announcement. Together, Together continued Styles’ support of Choose Love, the humanitarian organisation he has partnered with for a decade, which delivers food, shelter and education by working directly with communities. The residency also partnered with EARNT, which let fans unlock tickets by volunteering their time, and extended Styles’ partnership with HeadCount, whose pop-up activation registered eligible fans to vote at the shows.
That structure matters to how the 30 nights will be remembered. A residency of this size is a small economy: half a million attendees, ten weeks of hotel rooms, restaurants and late trains in one neighbourhood of Manhattan. Wiring volunteering, voter registration and a decade-old humanitarian partnership into that economy does not change the music, but it changes what the run leaves behind in the city that hosted it, beyond the banner itself.
What Comes Next: Stadiums In 2027
MSG’s announcement also set the next chapter. The Together, Together tour returns to 12 cities in 2027, kicking off Friday, April 2 with back-to-back shows at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, and playing stadiums for the first time in the United States and Canada. Each city gets a different special guest, with a list that includes Tinashe, Kylie Minogue, Lainey Wilson, Caroline Polachek, LCD Soundsystem, Tears For Fears and Canada’s own Feist, among others.
For Canadian fans, that is the practical news inside the celebration: the 2026 run never crossed the border, because the Garden was the whole American story this year. The 2027 stadium leg is billed as a United States and Canada run, so the next chance to see this show on this side of the Atlantic comes with the bigger rooms, and with Feist holding one of the guest slots.
What Saturday settled is simpler. A 30-night sold-out residency at Madison Square Garden, drawn from 79 countries and closed with a banner presentation from the Knicks captain, now sits in the building’s permanent record, in the rafters and in a concourse exhibit that outlasts the tour. Styles arrived in August for a run of shows. He left on Halloween night with his name hanging over the floor.
