iimiTV Newsroom
Submit a story.
Saw a show, heard a record, caught a moment we should know about? Send it in. This form is free, it goes straight to the iimiTV newsroom, and a real person reads every tip.
Send the tip
Free, and it takes about two minutes. Your tip joins the newsroom queue as a lead, never as a published story.
Releasing your own music and want a guaranteed post instead? That is a different door: Submit Your Music is the paid route (CA$30), and approved submissions are published in the Submissions section with a paid submission label.
What makes a strong tip
- Who and what: the artist, the event, the release, in the first line
- When and where: dates and places we can put on a calendar
- Links we can verify in public: posts, event pages, official announcements
- A photo or file link, if you have one that supports the story
- Your email, in case the newsroom needs one more detail
What happens next
- 1.Your tip lands in the newsroom queue as a draft lead. It is never published as it arrives.
- 2.The team reads every tip and checks the links.
- 3.If the tip fits our coverage, a story may follow, and we may contact you first if you said we could.
- 4.Most tips do not become stories, and we cannot reply to every tip. Sending one never guarantees coverage.
The honest rules
Tips are free, and stay free
There is no fee to send a tip, and tips are never sold or shared. If anyone asks you to pay for a tip, it is not us.
A tip is not a post
This form feeds the newsroom, not the publishing queue. Artists who want a guaranteed post for their own track or video use Submit Your Music, the paid route. A tip skips no line and buys no coverage.
Send only what is yours to share
Do not send private material, unreleased music that is not yours, or anything you do not have the right to pass on. Public links are best.
Corrections count as tips
Spot an error in a story? Pick Correction as the tip type, name the story, and tell us what is wrong. Corrections get read first.
