iimiTV Battles: Press and Assets
iimiTV Battles is a fan voted rap battle competition on iimitv.com, run by iimiTV in Toronto, Ontario, and presented by Famous Factory Inc. Two performers go head to head in a text battle or an audio battle, fans vote in one tap, and the winner takes the feature and a digital championship belt.
Battles exists to give real, independent performers a public stage that does not depend on social media reach. Entry is account free, voting is account free, and every submission is checked for AI generated content and reviewed by a person before it goes live. The standing public line is: Real people. Real bars. No AI bars.
Season 1 is the launch season. Entries are open now, battles are paired as approved entries in the same format are ready, and each battle then gets a full 14 days of fan voting, so winners are decided on real numbers.

FAQ
How much does it cost to enter or vote?
Nothing. Entry and voting are free, and no purchase is ever required. Battles is an entertainment showcase, not gambling.
Do I need an account to enter or vote?
No. Battles has no user accounts. Entering uses a single form with a stage name, an Instagram handle and an email. Voting is one tap with no sign up.
What can I enter, a written verse or a recording?
Both formats run in Season 1. Text battles are 16 written bars submitted on the form. Audio battles are a 60 second verse, recorded in your browser on the entry page or uploaded as an audio file, clearly audible and performed by you.
Who can enter?
Real people, age 16 or older (or with a parent or guardian permission), entering under a stage name they actually perform under, with a working email and a real social handle. Some battles may be marked 18 plus. One entry per person per battle round.
Are AI bars or AI voices allowed?
No. AI generated or AI assisted lyrics are banned, and AI music, AI vocals, cloned voices and text to speech performances are banned. Every submission goes through an AI checker plus human review before it can go live, and a flagged entry can be held for proof the work is yours.
How is the winner decided, and what does the winner get?
Fans vote for 14 days per battle, one vote per person, and the battler with the most valid votes when voting closes wins. Fake or duplicate votes can be removed, even after a battle closes. The winner receives an iimiTV feature, a Winners Wall listing and a digital championship belt. No cash or other prize is promised unless the page for that specific battle states one in writing.
When do Season 1 entries close?
Sunday, November 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM Toronto time. Battles are paired as approved entries arrive, and each battle keeps its own 14 day voting window.
