iimiTV Premieres

Premiere your video on iimiTV.

Debut your next music video here first. An iimiTV premiere puts your video on the homepage of a platform that has covered Canadian entertainment and hip hop since 2009, exclusive for 48 hours, with a permanent feature post. It costs nothing. You bring the video and your audience. We bring the premiere.

48 hoursExclusive debut · Free for artists · Canadian artists first

What a premiere gets you

  • A 48 hour exclusive debut: your video premieres on iimiTV before it is public anywhere else
  • A full feature post with the video embedded at the top, ready to play the moment the page opens
  • Homepage placement while your exclusive window runs
  • A social push: premieres are eligible for the day's best five shares on the Intimidate Television Facebook Page and iimiTV's other channels
  • A branded iimiTV cover on your post, and a permanent link that stays up after the window closes

How booking works

  1. 1.Email [email protected] with the subject line "PREMIERE: Your Name, Song Title".
  2. 2.Include everything on the booking checklist below. One email, everything in it.
  3. 3.We validate the video link and hold your date. Bookings are held in the order they validate, and Canadian artists get first call on contested dates.
  4. 4.At the booked time, your premiere post goes live on iimiTV. You post the link to your audience. The 48 hour window starts.

The rules, straight up

Your own work only

You own the song and the video, or you hold the right to premiere them. Same standard as iimiTV Battles.

No AI generated songs

Premieres are for real artists debuting real work. AI generated songs do not book premieres here.

Keep it unlisted

The video stays unlisted or private until the premiere moment. If it goes public early, the post runs as a regular video feature instead, and the exclusive framing comes off. No penalty, but the first look has to be a first look.

Post the link

When your premiere goes live, you share the iimiTV link with your audience. That post is the exchange, and it is what makes a premiere worth more than an upload.

We can pass

We may decline anything that does not fit the site: off brand, or beef and diss content aimed at real artists. No explanation is owed, and a pass is not a comment on the music.

Free means free

No fee, no paid placement, no label. A premiere is editorial coverage booked in advance, not a paid submission, and it never carries a paid label.

The booking checklist

One email to [email protected] with the subject line “PREMIERE: Your Name, Song Title”. Copy this checklist into the email and fill in every line:

  • Artist name:
  • Instagram (and other official socials):
  • Song title:
  • Video title, if different:
  • Video link (unlisted YouTube or Vimeo):
  • Requested premiere date and time (Toronto time):
  • Press photo: attach one photo we have the right to publish.
  • About the song, in 2 or 3 lines, in your own words:
Book a premiere

Book at least five days before your date. The button opens your email app with the subject and checklist already filled in.

Premieres are not paid submissions

Looking to get a track or video that is already out posted on iimiTV? That is the paid submissions program: a guaranteed post in the labelled Submissions section. Premieres are different: free, booked ahead, and reserved for videos that have not gone public yet. Same own-work standard as iimiTV Battles.

Questions

Does a premiere cost anything?

No. Premieres are free. The exchange is the 48 hour exclusive window and you posting the premiere link to your audience.

How far ahead should I book?

At least five days before your date. Dates are held in the order bookings validate.

My video is already public. Can I still premiere it?

No, and that is fine. A video that is already out can run as a regular video feature or through paid submissions. Premieres are only for first looks.

Who can book a premiere?

Any artist, anywhere, with their own work. Canadian artists get first call on dates because this is a Canadian platform first.

When does the 48 hours start?

At the booked premiere time, Toronto time, when the post goes live on iimiTV.
