iimiTV Terms

Terms of Use

The rules for using iimiTV: our content, your submissions, Battles, affiliate disclosure, and event listings.

Effective date: October 24, 2026. Operated by Famous Factory Inc., Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Who runs this site

iimiTV (iimitv.com) is operated by Famous Factory Inc., a company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.

Our content

The articles, writing, design, logos, and the iimiTV name on this site belong to Famous Factory Inc. or to the people who licensed them to us. You may read, watch, and share links to our content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Sharing a link, or quoting a short passage with credit and a link back, is welcome. Republishing our articles, artwork, or branding as your own, or using them commercially, requires our written permission first.

Music, videos, and embeds

Songs, albums, and videos featured on iimiTV belong to their artists, labels, and owners. Embedded players on this site are provided by the platforms that host the media (such as YouTube and Spotify), and playback is subject to those platforms' own terms. Coverage of a release is editorial; it does not transfer any rights in the music itself.

Things you send us

When you send us a story tip, a message, or other material, you keep ownership of your work. By sending it, you give us permission to review it and to report on the story, including quoting or showing the material you provided for that purpose. Only send material you have the right to share, and do not send other people's private information.

Paid submissions

Artists can pay a flat fee for iimiTV to review and publish a submission post. The full submission terms, including the review turnaround, what the fee covers, and the refund rule (a full refund if a submission is rejected or delivered late), are set out on the Submit Your Music page, and those terms govern paid submissions. Published paid submissions are labelled as paid submissions on the site.

iimiTV Battles

iimiTV Battles are song and album competitions run on this site. Entry is free and no account is required. Entries must be your own real, released work; real people only; every entry is reviewed by a person before it can appear. The full rules, including voting, winner decisions, and belt awards, are in the Battles Terms, and those terms govern participation in Battles.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully and respectfully. That means: no harassment or hate directed at artists, readers, or our team; no spam; no impersonating another person or artist; no attempts to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems; no automated scraping that burdens the site; and no use of the site to infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content, refuse entries or submissions, or restrict access where these terms are broken.

Links to other sites

iimiTV links out to ticket sellers, streaming services, social platforms, artist pages, and other websites. Those sites are run by other people, under their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site, and we are not responsible for its content, availability, or practices.

Affiliate links

Some links on iimiTV, for example ticket links in our shows calendar and coverage, are affiliate links. When a link is an affiliate link, the page says so beside the link, using this wording: “Affiliate link: iimiTV may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.” If you buy through an affiliate link, the seller may pay us a commission; it never changes the price you pay. Affiliate relationships do not buy coverage: what we write is decided by our editors, not by commissions.

Event listings

Our shows calendar lists concert dates, venues, and release dates that we verify against official sources when we publish them, and we refresh the calendar weekly. Events still change: dates move, venues change, and shows are postponed or cancelled by promoters. Always confirm the details, and the final price, with the official seller before you buy a ticket.

Provided as is

iimiTV is provided as is, for information and entertainment. We work to keep our reporting accurate and to correct mistakes when we find them (corrections can be sent to [email protected]), but we do not promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Famous Factory Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses that come from using, or not being able to use, this site: for example, a missed show, a ticket bought for an event that later changed, or a business or hiring decision made based on our coverage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario or Canadian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about this site or these terms belongs in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. Updates take effect when they are posted here, with a new effective date at the top of this page. The version published here is the current one, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
