Future’s New Song ‘Ya Hit’ Started At Drake’s Birthday
The record has an origin story that explains the guest list. Hypebeast reported that “Ya Hit” was first previewed at Drake’s 40th birthday celebration in New York City as a three-way cut for Future, Travis Scott and Loe Shimmy, and that Drake heard it in the room and jumped on the track shortly afterward, turning it into the four-way single that arrived on Friday.
The announcement and the release landed the same morning. The artists shared the official single artwork on Instagram on Friday, and the song was live on streaming services the same day. The artwork is a hand-drawn pencil piece: a row of small figures at different stages of development beside a large sunglassed face, an image as strange and understated as the rollout was sudden.
The Credits Behind ‘Ya Hit’
The release facts sit on the official release page: Apple Music lists “Ya Hit” as a one-song single by Future featuring Drake, Travis Scott and Loe Shimmy, released November 6, 2026, running three minutes. The record is out through Sahluna Management Company under exclusive license to Epic Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.
Behind the boards, the official Epic credits on YouTube name ATL Jacob as producer and Mike Dean as mastering engineer, with writing credits for Nayvadius Wilburn, Aubrey Graham, Jacques Webster and Shamar Williams Cox, alongside Jacob Canady and Douglas Ford. There is also a fifth voice hiding in the record: HotNewHipHop notes that Sexyy Red contributes ad-libs, uncredited on the official listing.
For Loe Shimmy, the Florida artist is the newcomer on a marquee record, holding a feature slot beside three of the biggest names in rap on a lead single. That placement is the story inside the story: a rising underground artist getting the co-sign in the most public way possible, on the first single of a major album campaign.
The First Taste Of Infinity
“Ya Hit” is not a loose one-off. HotNewHipHop reported, per Kurrco, that the single is the lead release from Future’s follow-up to The Real Me, an album titled Infinity that Future has been hinting at with the #Infinity hashtag on social media this year. No release date for the album has been announced.
The bar for the follow-up is high. That Grape Juice reported that The Real Me debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming Future’s 12th chart-topping album. After that album landed, Future addressed the run directly: “Thanks for the #1 album. I’m always super grateful for the consistent love 1000% this next one for you.”
For Toronto, the headline inside the headline is Drake, the city’s biggest artist, turning a birthday preview into a finished record and landing on the lead single of Future’s next album on the same morning the artwork appeared. “Ya Hit” is streaming now on all major platforms, and it opens the Infinity campaign with the biggest guest list New Music Friday could offer.
