The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour has now grossed $1.07 billion worldwide, according to Pollstar. The total makes the Toronto artist’s stadium run the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist.

Pollstar’s September reporting shows the tour added $378 million in 2026 alone, selling 2,669,733 tickets across 48 stadium concerts in Latin America and Europe. The full picture is staggering: 8,157,456 tickets sold at 158 performances on four continents since the tour opened on July 14, 2022. With one leg still to come, the gross is not finished growing.

A Club Of Three

Only three headliners in history have passed $1 billion in grosses on a single tour. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour sits on top at $2.08 billion, and Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Tour has grossed $1.52 billion. The Weeknd is the third name on that list, and the only solo male artist in it, a distinction Live Nation confirmed when the tour first crossed the billion dollar mark.

“The Weeknd continues to redefine what it means to be a global touring artist. Crossing the billion-dollar mark is a testament to his staying power and the incredible demand for his live show. Year after year, he sells out stadiums around the world, and the ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ Tour now stands as one of the biggest of all time, a true reflection of his artistry and impact.”

That assessment came from Omar Al-joulani, Live Nation’s president of touring, and the 2026 receipts have backed it up at every stop.

A 2026 Run Built On Stadium Stands

The year started in Mexico City, where three nights at Estadio GNP Seguros grossed more than $19.8 million from 179,956 tickets, ranking the venue No. 1 among stadiums worldwide for the quarter in both gross and ticket sales. From there the tour crossed to Europe and the UK for a 42 date leg that grossed more than $345 million and drew over 2.3 million fans.

The centerpiece was London. After two nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, The Weeknd played a historic five-night stand at Wembley Stadium, part of seven sold-out UK stadium shows attended by more than 450,000 fans from nearly 150 countries. In France, he became the first artist ever to sell out six nights at Stade de France within a single tour, drawing over 500,000 fans in that country alone. Across the UK and France, the run generated more than $618 million in economic impact.

The London residency moved more than tickets. During Wembley week, streams of The Weeknd’s catalog in the UK jumped 55 percent compared to his previous four-week average, passing 11 million audio streams. His compilation The Highlights climbed back to No. 8 on the UK albums chart, weekly sales of Hurry Up Tomorrow doubled, and older singles including “The Hills,” “Starboy” and “Blinding Lights” returned to the UK Spotify Top 200. In July alone, the tour topped Billboard’s Boxscore chart with more than $120 million grossed and nearly 900,000 tickets sold in a single month, and he led Pollstar’s Artist Power Index for three straight weeks.

The tour also kept its charitable engine running. The 2026 leg raised more than $2.2 million for the United Nations World Food Programme and Global Citizen, with a dollar from European tickets and a pound from UK tickets going to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund and the XO Humanitarian Fund.

The Toronto Chapter

For Canadian fans, the record book hits closest to home at Rogers Centre. On this tour, The Weeknd broke the all-time record for most shows by a male solo artist on a single tour at the Toronto stadium with six, a mark that also stands as the record for any Canadian artist. He set the highest attendance record for an R&B male artist in Edmonton, and became the top-grossing Black male artist in venue history in cities including Montreal and Edmonton.

These are not opening act numbers or festival slots. This is a kid from Scarborough headlining the biggest rooms on the planet, repeatedly, for four straight years.

One Leg Left

The final trek through Asia began September 19 in Japan, with 17 stadium dates booked through November 5. When it wraps, the After Hours Til Dawn Tour will close alongside the album trilogy it was built to celebrate, After Hours, Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow. Whatever comes next for Abel Tesfaye, he heads into it having run one of the three biggest tours the live business has ever seen.
