Black Samson The Saga Continues Tracklist
The sequence, as listed by The Source, opens with “Black Samson Saga Begins,” then “God Body” with Method Man and AZ, “Knowledge My Wisdom” with Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Planet Asia and Poppa Wu, “Choices” with Hue Hef, Jon Depp and Chalana Haney, “Dominant Confidence” with Ransom, Che Noir and Kyah Baby, “Brolic,” “Hustle” with Cory Gunz, Grafh and Whispers, “Hennessy Pure” with Skyzoo and Chedda Bang, “7:Thirty” with U-God, NEMS and Illa Ghee, and an outro.
“God Body” is the headline pairing: Method Man and AZ, two of the most technically respected writers of their generation, over haunting piano and heavy drums. “Knowledge My Wisdom” carries the record deepest root, a Poppa Wu recording made before his passing, set into a new Mathematics production alongside Masta Killa and Inspectah Deck.
An Homage To Blaxploitation Cinema
The Black Samson name is deliberate. Mathematics explained the title choice to Variety:
“It is an homage to Blaxploitation movies, an homage to the movies that came out, not just Black Samson, but Black Caesar and Super Fly.”
That lineage runs through the whole Wu-Tang universe, where kung fu cinema and 1970s Black film have always shared the same shelf. The 2025 first instalment leaned fully into the concept with 5,000 one of one vinyl covers on its Record Store Day release. The sequel keeps the concept and widens the guest bench instead, bringing in Ransom, Che Noir, Skyzoo and Cory Gunz from the current lyricist class.
Wu-Tang In The Farewell Era
The album arrives while Wu-Tang Clan concludes its Final Chamber farewell touring, which makes every new group billed recording a document as much as a release. Mathematics has become the keeper of that archive in real time, building records that put the surviving members beside the generations they raised. Black Samson: The Saga Continues is streaming now.
Three Generations On One Tracklist
Read the guest list as a timeline. Method Man, AZ, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck and U-God carry the 1990s foundation. Planet Asia and Skyzoo represent the lyricist generation that grew up studying them. Ransom, Che Noir, Cory Gunz and Kyah Baby are the current class, rappers whose reputations were built on writing rather than singles. Mathematics places them in the same rooms on purpose, and the record sequencing makes the handoffs audible, veterans on the marquee tracks and the newer names carrying the middle of the album.
That structure is also why the project works as more than nostalgia. The younger guests are not decoration on a legacy brand. On “Dominant Confidence” and “Hustle” they take the longest verses on the record, a deliberate passing of the format to the writers Mathematics rates now.
