Harry Styles Releases Coming Up Roses Video

By Marquee

Harry Styles released the official video for “Coming Up Roses” on Monday, October 26, 2026, a waltz set in an old fashioned dance hall. The Harry Styles Coming Up Roses video is the fourth visual from his fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., which arrived on March 6, 2026.

Styles announced the video the way this album cycle has done everything, from the stage. At his Madison Square Garden residency show on Saturday, October 24, seated at the piano, he told the audience the video would arrive on Monday, then posted the artwork with the caption “Coming Up Roses. October 26, 16:00 UK.” The residency, a 30 show stand at the Garden, wraps on Halloween, and the video lands in the middle of its final week as a deliberate piece of timing.

The Harry Styles Coming Up Roses Video, Frame By Frame

The video is directed by Bradley and Pablo, the duo behind his “Watermelon Sugar” and “Late Night Talking” videos, and it is built on a single elegant idea: a waltz class where nobody’s partner quite matches the song’s romantic swell. Styles, in a gray pinstripe suit, rotates through an assortment of dance partners, including a man wearing a neck brace, a pregnant woman, a bride, and an older woman, while the room drifts between strangers and couples. He eventually watches another woman perform a solo dance, and the video ends with him alone, eating a cookie as the other guests leave.

It is a pop video about the gap between the dance and the dancer, and it suits a piano driven ballad that has become a fixture of the residency setlist. Billboard Philippines, which ranked the track the second best song on the album, heard that tension in the recording itself:

It never loses its footing, effortlessly drifting into the fantasy, the daydreaming, and the awe-struck wonder of being in love.

The song was produced by Kid Harpoon, Styles’ longtime collaborator, and the video’s restraint is the point. After the maximal clips this cycle has already produced, a ballad gets a ballroom, a rotating cast, and one joke held until the final shot.

The Couple Who Got Engaged To This Song

The bride in the dance hall is not an extra. The video features a real couple who got engaged at Styles’ October 7 residency show, during this very song, and who are now shown getting married inside its official video. According to Rolling Stone’s reporting, the proposal happened while Styles played “Coming Up Roses” on piano facing the opposite side of the arena; the crowd erupted, and he looked around to see what had happened without interrupting the performance.

That moment could have stayed a piece of residency folklore, the kind of story fans retell and everyone else half believes. Instead it has been folded into the song’s permanent record. The couple’s engagement happened in the room where the album is being performed nightly, and their wedding now happens inside the video the rest of the world will watch for years. It is a full circle that no marketing plan could have scripted, because the first half of it was not scripted at all.

Fourth Video From A Twelve Song Album

“Coming Up Roses” follows the videos for “Aperture,” “American Girls,” and “Dance No More,” the last of which arrived in May with Styles dancing alongside a group of performers. Four videos from a 12 song album, spread across eight months, is an old fashioned album campaign run at modern scale: each track gets its season, and the residency gives every release a live audience to land in front of the same week.

The Garden stand ends on October 31, after which the Together, Together tour moves on, with Australian dates in Melbourne and Sydney scheduled later this year. When it does, “Coming Up Roses” leaves New York with something few album tracks ever get: a proposal, a wedding, and a waltz, all attached to the same piano ballad. The video is streaming now on Styles’ official channels.

There is also a quieter craft point worth recording. A residency strips a song of hiding places: the same room, the same piano, thirty nights of audiences learning exactly where the performance breathes. “Coming Up Roses” earned its video the slow way, in public, one Garden crowd at a time, until the ballad had a history the cameras could simply collect rather than invent.
