B2K Announces Eclipse Album Release Date

B2K will release Eclipse on Friday, November 6, 2026, through BPC Music Group, ending a studio silence that stretches back to Pandemonium! in December 2002. The B2K Eclipse album release date makes the project the reunited group’s first full-length studio album in nearly 24 years.

Omarion, J-Boog, Raz-B and Lil Fizz confirmed the date together, and the announcement carried the confidence of a group that has spent two years rebuilding toward this exact moment. Reunion tours came first. The album, the thing fans were told might never happen again, comes now.

“Studio locked. Album finished!”

Two singles set the shape of Eclipse

The comeback started in July with “Mileage”, the lead single, produced by Ethos and co-written by Ant Clemons. The group debuted it live during their Verzuz battle with Pretty Ricky on June 25, 2026, then watched it climb into the radio Top 25. It is the smoother of the two previews, a grown record about making room for love without auditing a partner’s past, and it got the full treatment with an official music video on the group’s VEVO channel.

The second single went the other direction. “Lil Freak”, released October 14, rides an Atlanta bass groove built for movement, with Omarion leading the hook and Lil Fizz closing the track with a rap verse, the same role he held in the group’s early-2000s run. Producers Lil Ronnie, Slikk Muzik and Kelby On The Track share the credits, and the official visualizer, directed by Loyal of FNL Productions and posted to the group’s own YouTube channel on October 20, had drawn roughly 89,000 views within a day.

A reunion built in stages

B2K formed in 1998, and by 2002 the four teenagers from Los Angeles were everywhere: a self-titled debut that reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the holiday set Santa Hooked Me Up, and Pandemonium!, carried by “Bump, Bump, Bump”, their only No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group split in 2004, soon after the dance film You Got Served reached theatres, and the four did not tour together again until the Millennium Tour brought them back in 2019.

The current chapter opened with a surprise shared stage at the 2025 BET Awards, the same ceremony that once handed B2K its Best Group trophy. That moment turned into the Boys 4 Life Tour, a 28-city arena run co-headlined with Bow Wow that kicked off February 12, 2026 in Columbia, South Carolina, more than twenty years after B2K and Bow Wow first toured together. Studio footage released by the label in September showed all four members in sessions with hitmaker Sean Garrett, and J-Boog has said the new songs grew out of catch-up conversations about relationships and dating once the four were back in a room together.

The label behind the return

Eclipse arrives on BPC Music Group, a young label with an unusual parent: founders Gary Guidry and Troy Brown are partners in the Black Promoters Collective, the alliance behind the Boys 4 Life Tour. In plain terms, the people booking the arenas also own the record, so the tour and the album sell each other. Omarion came up with the album title, connecting it to the cycles of the moon and to the group’s plan to overshadow the competition. The full tracklist and guest list have not been announced, though confirmed songs include “Mileage”, “Lil Freak”, a track called “Today” and a sequel to “Boys for Life”.

The four also arrive as established solo artists rather than a nostalgia act frozen in 2002. Omarion released his own album O2-Part 1 on June 26, 2026, in the middle of the group’s reunion run, and J-Boog spent his solo years bringing reggae and island influences into his own sound. Eclipse folds those separate journeys back into the group format, which is part of why the sessions with Sean Garrett mattered: this is a working band again, not a tribute to one.

What lands on Friday is a genuine rarity in R&B: a teen-era group, all four original members now in their early forties, releasing a studio album almost a quarter century after their last one, on a label built for exactly this reunion, with a radio-charting lead single already in hand. Boy bands of their era reunite for tours and anniversary shows. B2K went back into the studio, locked the door, and finished an album. November 6 is when the rest of the world hears what that room sounded like.
