Quavo Releases Qromelife Album

By NoExcu$e

Quavo released Qromelife on October 2, 2026 through Quality Control Music and Motown, a 14 track album produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. The project is his third solo studio album and his first solo album since Rocket Power in 2023.

The release date is October 2, 2026, inside the last thirty days, and the headline facts are scale and reunion. Qromelife runs 37 minutes and 35 seconds, features Offset, Future, T.I., Lil Baby, Tyler The Creator, A$AP Rocky, Justin Timberlake, Yung Miami and Pharrell himself, and brings Quavo and Offset back together on record on the song Away.

Pharrell produces the whole record

One producer across a full album is a deliberate choice in 2026, when most major rap albums gather beats from a long list of names. Pharrell Williams serves as executive producer and sole producer here, shaping a sound that moves through Southern rap, funk influenced arrangements, electronic textures and melodic hooks. Quavo and Pharrell worked on the album through 2025, with sessions reported at Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris, where Pharrell is a creative director, and on a yacht in Miami.

Quavo has said Pharrell pushed him to record over beats that challenged his melodies, and that they made the music in the same room rather than by trading files. That working method shows in the tracklist sequencing. Opener Backwards pairs Quavo with T.I., an Atlanta elder from the generation before Migos. BA follows with Future. Baby Breath then places Pharrell, Tyler The Creator and A$AP Rocky on the same song, a combination no algorithm would suggest and a clear sign of a producer curating collisions.

This album just opening up the vault. We not finished. I got another album coming right after.

Quavo gave that update in an October 12 interview about the album, adding that he and Pharrell had about twenty one tracks before cutting Qromelife to fourteen. The vault comment matters for listeners weighing how much weight to give this album. Quavo presents it as the start of a run, not a final statement.

Away and the Offset reunion

The most closely watched song on Qromelife is Away, featuring Offset. It is their first official collaboration since 2021 and their first released song together since the death of Takeoff in 2022. Quavo wrote on Instagram that he and Pharrell made this album in 2025 while he was still dealing with grief after Takeoff death, and he described the record as being about getting through difficult times with faith, family and music.

That context gives Away weight beyond a guest credit. Migos changed Atlanta rap and global pop rap with a triplet flow that became a default setting for a generation. Hearing the two surviving members trade verses again, inside a Pharrell production, connects that history to the present without turning the song into a memorial. It plays as a working partnership renewed, which is the strongest possible frame for both artists.

Quavo has also discussed a final Migos project with Offset that would include posthumous Takeoff vocals, and a Takeoff project drawn from a large vault of unreleased recordings. Those plans remain future work. Qromelife is the released evidence, and Away is the track listeners will return to when they judge whether the reunion is real.

A guest list that crosses lanes

The rest of the tracklist is built to cross audiences. Hit A Lik, Trance Walk It Down, Factory Trim and Sweep hold the core solo space. Ball My Love features Lil Baby. HAOYU DEWDAT features Yung Miami, whose own debut solo album arrives this month. House Music features Justin Timberlake, the pop crossover moment of the record. Singles Haavin, Trance Walk It Down, Backwards and House Music were released across June, August, September and October, giving the album a four month runway.

That range carries a risk, because a long guest list can swallow a solo album identity. The single producer credit is the counterweight. Pharrell sonic fingerprints, bright chords, off centre drums and melodic choruses, give fourteen tracks a shared language even when the guests change every few minutes.

Why Qromelife matters this month

Qromelife arrived on the same October 2 weekend as several other major releases, and it still held its own conversation because of two clear stories: a full Pharrell production and a Migos reunion on record. For hip hop listeners building an October playlist, the entry points are simple. Start with Away for history, Backwards for Atlanta lineage, Baby Breath for range and House Music for the pop swing.

Quavo released Qromelife on October 2, 2026, and by his own account more music is already waiting. As a third solo album, it repositions him as a collaborator at the centre of a wide network, held together by one producer and one clear personal through line of faith, family and forward motion.
