Drake Expands HABIBTI With FOMO

By NoExcu$e

Drake expanded HABIBTI on October 2, 2026 with HABIBTI (FOMO), a 15 track edition adding four songs first heard in his September FOMO film. The new tracks are Solar Eclipse, Cold Shoulder, Quebec and Classic PT2.

The date and the structure both matter. HABIBTI was originally released in May alongside ICEMAN and MAID OF HONOUR. The FOMO edition is not a brand new album. It is a focused expansion that moves music from a film premiere onto streaming in a complete sequence, giving listeners the four songs in the context of the original 11 tracks.

The four additions, track by track

Solar Eclipse places Don Toliver alongside Drake on an R and B rework of Ella Langley Choosin Texas. That source choice is the sharpest detail in the package. A country record is reworked into a melodic Drake and Toliver collaboration, and it lands near the end of the album at track 12, after the original sequence has already established the mood.

Cold Shoulder, at track 14, reunites Drake with Don Toliver and adds Yebba. Having Toliver appear on two of the four additions gives the FOMO section a recurring voice rather than four disconnected extras. Quebec, at track 13, moves between smooth melodies and bouncy raps, and its title keeps the Canadian geography present in an album rollout rooted in a Toronto summer. Classic PT2 closes the record at track 15 by revisiting a track from the original album, so the edition ends by looking back at its own starting point.

The full sequence runs Rusty Intro, WNBA, Slap The City featuring Qendresa, High Fives, Hurrr Nor Thurrr featuring Sexyy Red, I am Spent featuring Loe Shimmy, Classic, Gen 5, White Bone, Fortworth featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR, Prioritizing, and then the four FOMO additions. That order is worth noting because Fortworth, the PARTYNEXTDOOR collaboration at track 10, now works as a bridge between the original album and the new closing run.

What the FOMO film added

The additions follow September FOMO premiere, which brought together new music, videos and a look at Drake summer in Toronto. Reporting on the film described scenes in his Toronto mansion, time with his mother and her friends, and cruising on a lime green speedboat against the Toronto skyline. Another reported scene placed Drake and Loe Shimmy in Iron Man suits at the Canadian National Exhibition. Not every preview from the film made it onto streaming. These four did, and that selection is the actual news in the October 2 release.

OVO Radio and Sound42 have been so supportive of my music, so hearing from Drake himself was a really special moment. Slap The City was the very first song we collaborated on and one of my personal favourites.

That quote came from London singer Qendresa, who appears on Slap The City and contributes across the wider surprise release period. Her presence is one of three concrete signs that HABIBTI works as a collaborative album rather than a solo holding pattern. PARTYNEXTDOOR brings the long running OVO connection on Fortworth. Sexyy Red and Loe Shimmy cover the rap side of the tracklist. Qendresa, Don Toliver and Yebba cover the melodic and R and B side. Drake sits in the middle, switching between rap and melody in the way the Quebec description underlines.

Why an expansion can still count

Deluxe and expanded editions are common, and listeners are right to ask whether four songs change a record. In this case the answer rests on placement and source. The songs were not random leftovers attached months later with no story. They were introduced through a specific September film, they carry two major collaborations, and they form a continuous four track closing sequence from track 12 to track 15. Classic PT2 also creates a deliberate callback, turning the ending into a return rather than a stop.

For Toronto listeners, the FOMO framing adds another layer. The film sold a summer in the city, and the album edition preserves the music from it in a form that can be replayed without the film. Quebec in the tracklist, the Canadian National Exhibition in the film reporting, and the Toronto skyline in the boat scenes all keep place inside the rollout, even when individual songs travel elsewhere, from Fortworth in a title to Texas in a sample source.

HABIBTI (FOMO) arrived October 2, 2026, in the Hip Hop and Rap genre, with 15 tracks and four confirmed additions. It does not replace the May album. It completes the FOMO chapter of it, and Solar Eclipse, Quebec, Cold Shoulder and Classic PT2 are the four songs that now define that chapter on streaming.
