Curren$y and Harry Fraud released the single and music video for Duffle 2 The Dealership on Tuesday, November 3, setting the stage for their joint album Off To The Races. The Curren$y Duffle 2 The Dealership video is shot in black and white and keeps the frame on the two things this partnership has always sold: the cars and the composure.
The release lands three days before the album, which makes it the last preview rather than an introduction. Off To The Races arrives Friday, November 6 through Jet Life Recordings, and Duffle 2 The Dealership is positioned as the record that explains the title, a dealership run rendered as a victory lap by two artists who have made a career out of never raising their voices.

Curren$y Duffle 2 The Dealership video keeps it monochrome
The visual choice is the story inside the story. At a moment when rap videos compete on colour, location and cast size, Curren$y and Fraud strip the clip to black and white photography and let the performance carry it. The approach matches the record, which rides on Fraud’s sampled soul production and Curren$y’s unhurried delivery, a combination that has never needed spectacle to hold attention.
That restraint is also the brand. Curren$y’s Jet Life catalogue is built on a single promise kept for more than a decade: consistent, high finish rap music about a life arranged exactly the way he wants it, released on his own schedule through his own label. A black and white video for a song about a dealership run is not a budget decision. It is the aesthetic argument of the whole catalogue in one clip, that the work photographs well in any light because the work was never the lighting.
Off To The Races arrives November 6
The album runs ten tracks and arrives with a guest list that maps the duo’s world precisely. Wiz Khalifa, the Pittsburgher whose own laid back catalogue grew up alongside Curren$y’s, appears alongside Bruiser Wolf, the Detroit stylist with one of the most distinctive deliveries in current rap, and Fendi P, a Jet Life roster artist whose presence keeps the project partly in house. The earlier preview, The Telethon, connected Curren$y and Fraud with Rome Streetz, and between the two previews the shape of the album is clear: veteran poise at the centre, carefully chosen younger energy at the edges.
Ten tracks is a deliberate size for this team. Their best work has always been concise, and a November 6 release date puts Off To The Races into the busiest corridor of the fall calendar, one day after a crowded Thursday and inside the same week as several major drops. A short, focused record by two specialists is built for exactly that corridor, because it asks for forty minutes and rewards them instead of asking for an afternoon.
A partnership with a long memory
Curren$y and Harry Fraud have been making records together long enough for the collaboration to have eras. Their Cigarette Boats EP in 2012 helped define the polished, sample rich lane both men still occupy, and The Marina EP in 2018 proved the chemistry survived the decade between underground eras. Off To The Races is the full album that history has been pointing at, ten tracks with the EP discipline both artists trust and the feature list of a proper album rollout.
Fraud’s production is the constant. His drum work and his ear for soul samples give Curren$y a surface that sounds expensive without sounding strained, and Curren$y returns the favour by rapping like a man describing rooms he owns. Duffle 2 The Dealership, out now with its video, is the pair in their purest form. The album follows on Friday, and if the two previews hold, it will be the rare late career rap record that sounds exactly like its makers intended, because its makers answered to no one else.
There is also a calendar argument for the release. November is where rap albums go to be measured against the year’s best, and a ten track record with this one’s finish travels well in that company because it never asks a listener to skip. Curren$y has released music at a pace most artists abandoned years ago, project after project on Jet Life, and the audience that pace built does not need a rollout to find a record. It needs a date. November 6 is the date, Duffle 2 The Dealership is the proof of condition, and the video, in plain black and white, is the two of them signing the work before it ships.
