Chxrry Adds Rema On Big Shot

Toronto-born singer Chxrry released the deluxe edition of U, Me & My Ego on November 6, 2026, led by Big Shot, her new collaboration with Rema. The Chxrry Big Shot single anchors four new tracks on the expanded album, out now through XO Records and Republic Records.

The original album arrived on May 29, 2026 with 10 tracks, including collaborations with Cash Cobain and Mariah The Scientist, and it turned a strong debut year into a headline run. The deluxe edition is the victory lap: four new songs added to a finished album, with the biggest swing saved for the focus track. For a Toronto artist on The Weeknd’s XO imprint, a Rema feature is the kind of booking that announces the next level out loud.

Chxrry Big Shot Pairs Toronto With Afrobeats Royalty

Big Shot pairs Chxrry’s sharp, self-assured R&B delivery with Rema’s unmistakable Afrobeats presence. The hook states the terms plainly:

Big Shot don’t let me down. If you really like that, show me you’re like that.

The collaboration was staged carefully. Chxrry previewed the record ahead of release and kept the featured artist’s identity under wraps when she revealed the deluxe tracklist on November 2, according to Hip-HopVibe. The pairing had a live preview of its own: Chxrry previously joined Rema onstage at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, as The Music Universe notes in its release coverage, so Big Shot formalizes a connection Toronto audiences had already seen in the room.

Four New Tracks on the Deluxe Edition

The expanded U, Me & My Ego adds Big Shot featuring Rema, Like A Man, Phone, and Friends Don’t Kiss to the original 10 songs. Sequencing a deluxe this way matters: the new material sits as a second front door rather than bonus-track filler, and Big Shot is positioned as the record new listeners meet first. Rema’s presence also opens the album to his global audience in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and beyond, which is precisely the exchange a deluxe edition is supposed to make.

The Toronto Run Behind the Release

The deluxe lands at the end of a landmark year. Chxrry’s first headlining run, The Ego Tour, sold out across the United States and Europe, and she has posted her biggest streaming year to date. She toured Europe with Mariah The Scientist, joined Flo on their sold-out Access All Areas Tour, and appeared alongside Destin Conrad in her hometown. iimiTV covered her Billboard Canada Rising Star honour in October, and Big Shot is the release that capitalizes on it. In a year when toronto rappers and singers keep exporting the city’s sound in every direction, Chxrry’s lane is R&B with pop reach, and this deluxe gives that lane its biggest feature yet. The album is streaming now, and Big Shot is the song to start with.
