Bryan Adams Releases Hows It Goin Album

By No Excuse
Share

Bryan Adams releases his new album How’s It Goin’ on November 6, 2026 through BAD Records. The record is shaped by Canada itself, built from the country’s people, places, landscapes and stories.

It is a deliberate homecoming on record. Adams has carried Canadian songwriting around the world for more than four decades, and this album turns that voice fully toward home, with a sound the release describes as drawing on Celtic folk and rock with a distinctly Canadian and Acadian character.

Bryan Adams New Album Turns Toward Canada

The song titles tell the story before a note plays. The album includes The Ballad of Terry Fox, The Battle of Lundy’s Lane, Iron Ribbon, Diesel and Dirt and a title track named for the most Canadian greeting there is. The single Lake Ontario is included as a digital bonus track, a Great Lakes postcard attached to a record full of them.

One title will draw a second look. A song called 51st State sits on a proudly Canadian tracklist in 2026, and on an album about Canadian places, figures and resilience, its placement reads as part of the national conversation Adams is writing into, told from the Canadian side of the border.

The release information, carried in the album announcement, describes the subject matter as landscapes, history, humour and resilience, which is a fair summary of the country the record is about.

Formats Built For Collectors

How’s It Goin’ arrives in digital, CD and LP editions on November 6, 2026, with the vinyl pressed as a gatefold LP. An A4 hardback book edition combines the album on CD with lyrics and related images, the kind of package aimed at the fans who have kept Adams on the road for forty years.

The album is released on BAD Records, Adams’ own label, which keeps the whole project in house: a Canadian artist, on his own imprint, releasing a record about Canada.

Release Day Starts On Stage In Spain

Adams does not sit at home on release day. On November 6 he plays Palacio De Los Deportes in Murcia, Spain, the first stop in the Spanish sequence of his Roll With The Punches European tour, with dates continuing through Spain and Portugal before Geneva on November 25, Zurich on November 27 and Graz on December 15. Tour dates and tickets are listed at bryanadams.com.

That pairing is the story of this release in one image: a brand new album about Canada, launched from a stage in Europe by one of the most travelled Canadian musicians alive. How’s It Goin’ is available November 6, 2026 in digital, CD, LP and hardback book editions.
