Benny The Butcher released the “Elevate” video on October 30, 2026, the official visual for the lead single from A Friend Of Ours 2. The Benny The Butcher Elevate video arrives through Perfect Time Music Group and opens the two week runway to the album, due November 13.
The single is credited to Benny The Butcher and Black Soprano Family, the label and crew Benny founded in Buffalo, and it is produced by Moose Tarantino. “Elevate” is a song about the come up, and the rollout around it is built the same way: a lead single, a video on Benny’s own YouTube channel, a short tour that starts two days before the album, and a sequel title that reaches back to 2018, when the original A Friend Of Ours helped establish Benny as one of Buffalo’s defining rap voices.
Benny The Butcher Elevate Video Drives Cross Country
The visual, directed by Prolific Kid, follows Benny driving cross country toward Los Angeles, with the journey standing in for the career progression the song describes. Coverage of the video notes the desert setting, with Benny front and centre, and the commitment runs deeper than the lead artist: Black Soprano Family artists Fuego Base, Rick Hyde and Elcamino all appear, underlining that this is a label rollout and not only a solo single. That has been Benny’s model since the first A Friend Of Ours in 2018, using his own spotlight to put his roster in the frame.
Whenever Benny The Butcher drops under the Black Soprano Family banner, you know it is going to be special.
That was HotNewHipHop’s read on the release, and the schedule behind it supports the claim. A Friend Of Ours 2 is at least Benny’s fourth major release moment of 2026, a year that has already included Ashes In The Safe, Big Slow Fest and The Plugs I Met 2.5. Where many rappers treat a sequel as nostalgia, Benny is using the title as a checkpoint, returning to the 2018 project that started the Black Soprano Family album series and measuring how far the operation has travelled since.
A Friend Of Ours 2 Lands November 13
The album itself, A Friend Of Ours 2, arrives November 13, 2026 through Perfect Time Music Group. It continues a project series that dates back to 2018, the year Benny broke through nationally with Tana Talk 3 and began the run that carried him from Buffalo’s underground to the Griselda Records mainstay he is today. Full tracklist and guest details for the sequel have not been published yet, and “Elevate” is doing the talking in the meantime: a Moose Tarantino beat, a direct performance from Benny, and a video that literalizes the climb.
The timing is deliberate. The Benny The Butcher Elevate video dropped on a Friday, giving the single a full weekend before the tour begins, and the album lands mid tour, so every show on the run doubles as a release week appearance. It is the kind of compact, self contained rollout that independent labels run when the catalogue is deep enough to sustain it, and Benny’s 2026 output, three projects before this one, says the catalogue is exactly that.
Six Tour Dates Wrap Around The Album
The live side of the era is the Came A Long Way From Selling Dope Tour, a six date run that begins November 11 at Music Farm in Charleston, South Carolina, two days before the album arrives. The tour concludes in Atlanta at City Winery, where Benny will perform with a live band, a finale format that sets the last night apart from the club and theatre rooms on the rest of the run. The tour follows his fall 2025 Money and Power Tour, which featured OT The Real, Daringer, DJ Too Tuff and the Black Soprano Family.
